I've expected the somewhat old Akers to come back to reality and miss on every attempt from over 40 but he has been ridiculous from 45-50+ this season and in some very challenging conditions as well.

Smith is playing pretty well. Two impressive things in that drive stand out: first, on the offsides he took a shot downfield. Kind of mundane, but it's the sort of thing he hasn't done nearly enough of in his career. Second, great pass to Edwards on third and real long, short of the first down, but enough to allow Akers to keep us even. Keep it up! Now we need the D to actually get to Eli.
