Not such a bad call if it's Bruuuuuuuuce, but Dixon is like a Mogwai: bad things happen when you feed him.

It is a horrible call no matter who is running it. The RB is too close to the line doesn't have enough room to build up a head of steam, that means if the hole isn't there then there is no way to push the pile. It hasn't worked all season in that formation.

He didn't even extend forward, his arm just came down. At that angel the ball is always going to look shorter until the arm goes to the ground. But the continued ineptitude of NFL refs is no new surprise.
