He's never done much in that regard, he's good for some nice open ice checks every once in a while though. We always liked him for his offense and his personality. He was always a good clutch player too.

It felt like the whole period was played in our zone...same frustrating Wild hockey I've been watching for years.

I think he's pretty good defending when play is slowed down. He's able to be physical on the puck carrier and he usually wins that battle. But when defending a rush or when there's a lot of open space, he's an idiot with some of the decisions he makes.

That's pretty accurate. He can straight up bully people on the boards when he feels like it.
