Wilder was the one doing the dodging for a long time. He was one of the most protected fighters in recent memory. Guy had zero amatuer background, so they hand picked opponents and brought him along really slow. And he was scheduled to fight Povetkin, who is a top 5 heavyweight. But Povetkin got popped for steroids like most of the rest of Russia.

I almost guarantee Wilder will fight Fury or Joshua in the next year. Although I doubt his people let him fight Klitschko.
