Games to watch this weekend

We can only control what we can control, and there is no doubt about that.........but it's still fun to watch the games that can help our cause

Now, these would all have to be upsets of course, but you never know.

Alabama @ LSU - Maybe LSU can dial up some nasty defense and create some turnovers and win a low scoring game like 10-9.

TCU @ Utah - Utah doesn't lose very often at home.......in fact it's been a few years I think since they last lost there. TCU is way better in my opinion, but you never know. A Utah win is better than a TCU win.

Hawaii @ Boise State - this game is still not getting any hype, and I'm actually kinda glad that it's not. Let everyone think this will be a blowout........it's not going to be a blowout....mark my word. I think this game is going to surprise a lot of people who don't stay up late enough to watch Hawaii play like I do ..........they're actually very good and getting better each week.

Bama's coming off a bye week, so is LSU..Sometimes a team can lose focus there, but I doubt Saban would let that happen. This isn't the same Bama team as last year and they're on the road at a place that's difficult to play..This one's got upset potential.

TCU is a physical team but Utah's got a minor shot at home..

Boise will roll with the islanders playing on the mainland.

I don't think Boise beats Hawaii by more than 2 TDs............if La Tech can put up 20 on Boise, Hawaii can put up way more.

I think Boise State is a fraud.

I wouldn't say fraud..Top 5 probably not, but top 15 sure.

They beat the teams they are supposed to like they should. If they were winning them by the hair of their ass I'd have a different opinion.

I think they are a Top 10 team, but I have to say the only team that I think is heads above the rest is OREGON right now.

They have our offence but super charged. No "D" but I have not seen anyone slow them down.

Well my problem is the close win over Va Tech..........yea Va Tech is winning now, but not against any good opponents. Boise's win over Oregon State was ok.........that's about it. Washington beat Oregon State, so I just can't get excited over that.

I have nothing else to go off of other than when I watched them play La Tech the other night, and I saw a Boise team that had 28 points handed to them in that game, and they also gave up 20 on defense.

I just don't believe in them at all right now.

I agree..Oregon deserves their ranking.
They are the only 'AQ' team I don't see being tested prior to the NC game..

Oregon is a very good team, but with that being said I just can't see them beating a top SEC team.

Like I have said many times.........Oregon is very good, but they have not faced any defense worth a damn yet this season. Everyone wants to make USC's defense out to be world beaters just to justify how good Oregon's offense is.

Those holes in USC's defense against Oregon had nothing to do with how good Oregon's offense is...........it has everything to do with how bad USC's defense is.

Nebraska's defense would slow Oregon down.............I guarantee it. And Arizona's defense is going to have a chance to slow them down here soon. Arizona is the ONLY team with anything even resembling a defense whatsoever in the Pac 10.
