Vernon Davis - TE - 49ers
Vernon Davis (hamstring) was limited in 49ers practice Monday.
The 49ers play on Thursday night in St. Louis. ESPN's Bill Williamson suggested the 49ers deactivated Davis in Week 3 against the Colts because they wanted him to be ready for the Rams on a short week. He looks likely to play.

Daryl Richardson - RB - Rams
Daryl Richardson (foot) was limited in Rams practice Monday.
Richardson's Week 4 status versus the 49ers on Thursday night is up in the air after he aggravated his foot injury in Sunday's blowout loss to the Cowboys. Isaiah Pead would likely get the start if Richardson is forced to sit out.

Chris Givens - WR - Rams
Chris Givens (knee) did not participate in Rams practice Monday.
The Rams practiced lightly for about an hour after getting shellacked by the Cowboys on Sunday. They released an injury report because they play Thursday night versus the 49ers. Givens played his normal amount of snaps Sunday, so we have no reason to believe the injury is serious. Keep an eye on him.

Nnamdi Asomugha - DB - 49ers
49ers CB Nnamdi Asomugha is undergoing an MRI on his right knee Monday.
Asomugha suffered the injury getting trucked by Ahmad Bradshaw on Sunday. The Niners' nickel back, Asomugha has graded out as a bottom-nine corner in Pro Football Focus' ratings. It wasn't just the scheme in Philly.

At his Monday press conference, coach Jim Harbaugh was open to the idea of activating Jon Baldwin on game day.
"That's possible," said Harbs. "He's doing a good job." Baldwin has been a healthy scratch in each of the first three games. In the meantime, 49ers wideouts have struggled mightily to get open, and Vernon Davis is battling a bad hamstring. Look for Baldwin to get some snaps Thursday night in St. Louis. An undrafted rookie out of Texas State, Morris will be making his NFL debut if he's active for Thursday night's game against the Rams. His promotion is a sign Nnamdi Asomugha (knee) will be inactive.

I think he got at least one... nonetheless, he would've had one against the Ravens on turkey day if it wasn't called back from a lame hold they called...
not to mention his KO n PR returns are dearly missed but that's immaterial for most....

It sounds stupid now but we should have kept A.J Jenkins. Harbaugh playing favorites got us into this situation. Marlon Moore isn't even close to looking like a starting NFL receiver, at least Jenkins got open. He doesn't have a good track record, but if he could have just got playing time to bolster his confidence he would have been more than serviceable.

Seems to me about 90% of this comes down to the WR. They got open against GB and all was well, Kap was on fire got over 400 yards and we won handily. Defense has kept the other team to single digits in first half in the two losses. But when our best current WR cannot even get off the line of scrimmage, what are you going to do?
