I think the 49ers will win but, in order to do that, they are going to have to depend on Kaepernick again. There will be zero running game against that D. They still have to continue to try in order to keep that D honest but it will be on Kaepernick to win this one.

The Niners are coming in on a huge wave of momentum and also have the "payback" factor going for them. If they can get a pass rush and be able to sack Carolina's QB, they will be OK.

No Crabtree, Davis went out midway through the second quarter. Our offense should be better, but it needs to be. Kap was awful in the first game. 107 total yards, a bad INT, 42 rating and 7.7 QBR. If the D can play the way they did in the first game, and we can get even borderline competent play from the offense, we should win this one. Carolina has been playing pretty well lately, though.

And yet we almost won, a good sign there. That was the low point for our offense, it is much better now.

I'm a simplistic dude. Playoff games at this stage come down to execution. If both teams execute at a high level this will be a very very close game.

This includes TO mgt which will burn us at some point. My biggest worry is the inability to challenge a crucial play.

Lets just hope the Saints win on Sunday and then if we win we get the championship game at home. Travelling to GB, Carolina, and then Seattle before playing the super bowl in New York is pretty insane to consider. Thats an uphill battle for sure.

No, not at this stage of the game. Too much is at stake. The team that shows up and plays will win. I believe it will be the 49ers.

The last game should have been 21 to nothing in the first quarter after all three field goal drives ended inside the 5 yard line. Carolina only made one play the entire game and won only because of 49er offensive ineptitude. But this game we have Davis and Crabtree. It will be different.
