The non-challenge is ok to second guess, but really only with 20/20 hindsight.

Attacking the defense is not fair. They were on the field way too much, and as someone else pointed out, we’re tying to hit 5-run HRs to lead off every inning. That is going to cause blown plays and penalties.

Purdy getting hurt lost this game. End of story. Johnson was a street FA, and showed beyond any question that his NFL career is over.
