Yes, I've played both. The graphics are terrible but they oversell the facial expressions enough at odd points that it can be pretty funny. I had some fun sending anybody who crossed me to the wall and stealing anything that wasn't tied down at the Red Keep in episode one. The story is good so far but nothing really happened in episode two compared to episode one. It's kind of a letdown the episodes come out once every 6-8 weeks too.

After playing the first episode a few times it seems like overall the story is going to be the same no matter what. I both talked shit to Ramsey Bolton and Whitehills as well as bent the knee only to see my throat get slashed. I did the same with Cersei but that her being pissed off no matter what was going to be a given.

Third episode just came out not too long ago and it seems like the stories would have to be splitting out quite bit now with all the options. Hopefully things continue to branch to add some more replay value. Highlight of episode three had to be seeing Drogon in that cave.

You're right though, it does appear that certain people are just going to get pissed at you no matter what you do. It's kind of ridiculous how angry some of those characters get at the smallest things. Especially that bitch Sera who seems to be on her period 24/7.

As far as the facial expressions go, they're not great. However I played another sort of new "choose your own adventure" game by Square Enix called "Life is Strange" and the characters in this thing barely move their mouths when talking even though the graphics are better than Telltale's games.

The books and the show may differ in this as the show has been going in a different direction with a number of plot lines.

well it just kinda crossed my thoughts. Isnt the guy working on the mountain the same guy that took care of Jamie's severed hand on the way to King's Landing? if so maybe the Mountain remains alive to showcase this guy, not so much for the mountain.

Yup, same dude. He has a part to play in the story yet if it follows the books.

There definitely are HD screener copies of the first 4 episodes of the new season available on streaming sites & as torrents. I just finished watching streams of those episodes this morning. Further episodes are supposed to be available soon.

Rumors and speculation only. Nothing is confirmed/engraved in stone. The final two books have not even been released yet.

There is talk of having at least 7 seasons on HBO... possibly more. Then there are rumors about possibly finishing the saga via theatrical releases.

One thing is for certain: You can be sure that nothing at this point is for certain.
