One of the more under-rated actors on the show in my opinion.
Hey, Jorah just left Heartsbane lying around too. There are some treasures for the beachcombers out there. Why doesn't someone else just pick up the necklace and put it on? Boom, instant magic powers.

I thought Bran was going to Warg a dragon.
When that was obviously not happening I also thought that Arya was actually disguised as Bran in the chair. Of course I realized pretty quickly that made no sense given how the episode played out. They might have been able to work that in if they changed some stuff.
You're right about the dagger too. They show her throwing those dragonglass daggers with really tight precision and practicing shooting with a bow. But she just decides to run straight at him from behind and then jump up and yell before she jumps in the air. Da fuq.
Then it was a real mistake for her to scream the entire time she was airborne and coming at him from behind.
Also, even if they're all deaf the wights or the other White Walkers would have noticed her running through that crowd that surrounded Bran and the Night King.
It was at LEAST 15 seconds. The Dothraki spent centuries refusing to cross the Sea as it was taboo and an omen of doom.
So...yeah..that was a great idea in hindsight. It worked out well for them to break their taboo pledge.
I guess they got to kill some Tarley and Lannister troops in one minor battle last season that had little strategic impact.
And they delayed the advance of the Wights for about 8 seconds in this season.
Time well spent in Westeros for them.
Love the last one. Can't say I understand the chicken one.
I somewhat disagree.
Arya knows that courtyard area like the back of her hand... it's her home, whereas the WW's have never been there... she could have done it blind. Probably LOTS of places in that area for her to sneak about unseen. Stealth is her specialty, and it was at night.
Also, the battle was essentially over and in the mop-up stages. The WW's realized that all threats in the courtyard had already been eliminated. The WW's were already in 'grab a beer & popcorn mode' and watch as The Boss takes out Bran.
However.....
It made sense, up until the point the dumbass director had her yell while in mid-leap. That scene bothered me because of the stupid director having Maisie (Arya) yell in mid-leap...yelling is something Brienne would do in battle while dealing a crushing blow... yelling is something a highly trained assassin would NOT do in the midst of performing a stealthy backstab. That was cringe-worthy... shame on the director for having Arya yell mid-leap. Here is the scene:
Maybe its not that you're watching with lighting now but that since you've already seen it once, you know what happens and are tracking the action better because of it. First time thru, your eyes are scanning everywhere just trying to pick up any and every detail you can. Every view after though, you know what to look for so you don't sense the same confusion. Could be a possibility. Just throwing it out there.
I never had any problem with the lighting being a reason I couldn't make out what was happening. The blurry camera work to give the appearance of fog of war confusion was a bit much though.
I thought the dragon glass was pushed into his heart, and Arya stabbed him lower? The after show shed some light. She stabbed him in same spot where dragon glass turned him into NK, as in thats where he needed to be stabbed

I didn't catch that, thanks. He was holding her over his head and she's not that tall, if you watch zoom out, it looks like it's in the heart

Holy shit. This is a world full of sniveling cunts.
I thought it was lower at first but after rewatching it was definitely in the heart area.I thought the dragon glass was pushed into his heart, and Arya stabbed him lower?

So we are to assume she just got lucky?
I suppose it could have been sort of luck. She seemed to be going for the head/neck area. Once that was taken out she went for the only kill zone in reach. That is the question, part of me says no
but if your plan is to get caught midair by the throat, I question your plan
