Side note. When I bought the first book I found a sticky note someone had placed inside. The note said: everyone dies.

Well, combine that tendency with the supposed quote that the ending is "bittersweet" and what do we have?

I dunno. Not sure which notable characters will be in the crypts but I'm guessing it is Tyrion, Dany, and Sansa. Unnamed characters are pretty much toast. I think at least one of them bites it in the crypts.

She may end up with Theon though. They are on the same footing as far as social class. Yes, even though he's a dickless.

I don't think happy ending is the right way to describe it. Most of the characters are probably going to be dead. But ultimately I would be very surprised if the ending isn't one of the major characters(Jon, Dany, Tyrion) on the Iron Throne and the dead back to being dead.

I was daydreaming the other night while thinking of the crypts and the fact all the past kings of Winterfell have iron swords. Not likely, but wouldn't it be cool if the Stark kings, unique among men given their history with the Wall and the Others, did reanimate but fight FOR Winterfell?

That's an idea I've been I've been mulling for quite a while ... mentioned it a couple of weeks ago ... that the Kings of Winter down in the crypts will be reanimated and have a part to play.
The continued emphasis on the crypts this season has only served to make me think I may have been onto something.

I dunno. Not sure which notable characters will be in the crypts but I'm guessing it is Tyrion, Dany, and Sansa. Unnamed characters are pretty much toast. I think at least one of them bites it in the crypts.

Also Gilly and Little Sam.

Dany will be out in battle, on Drogon.

It's always interesting to see how different people's opinions of an episode can be.

Personally, I loved episode 2.
I love how human it was, how they took their time with it (especially after the borderline vertigo of how quickly season 7 moved), and how it built the tension toward next week.

It's always interesting to see how different people's opinions of an episode can be.

Personally, I loved episode 2.
I love how human it was, how they took their time with it (especially after the borderline vertigo of how quickly season 7 moved), and how it built the tension toward next week.

I liked episode 2 better than episode 1

I think it's knowing how few episodes are left and they're drinking around fire that annoys some people.

I dont think every story line will be, or should be wrapped up nice in neat by series finale either.
