It's alright. More horror than sci-fi really. Only eight episodes I think, so it's worth a look at the very least.

It's certainly not bottom drawer cgi FX like some of syfy's stuff. They spent some money on it. It's just not that different from horror in space stuff we've seen before. But I'd say worth a look on Netflix if you have it for sure. 6.5 out of 10? Somewhere in there.

The first couple seasons went with the graphic violence and nudity every 5 minutes as if it was directed by a teenager. However, the political plots and betrayals were well done. If you like the first couple episodes, you'll be hooked.

They did a good job of sticking with the books for the first 4 seasons until the show outpaced them in the last few seasons which have felt a little rushed and loose ends taken care of in ways to just speed it along to the main storyline.


With 10 (or less) episode seasons, it's easy to binge a season on a weekend.
