A few of them I enjoyed, a few were, in my view, the same old dreck we got in parts of AFFC and ADWD.

I'd forgotten about that one.
How could I forget ... not just lemon cakes, really big lemon cakes.

Other than the really big lemon cakes, I don't remember much other than thinking, "meh."

I loved the Mercy chapter, and while I can't remember either of them very well, I remember thinking positively of the Tyrion chapters.

I was just thinking about those fucking Arianne chapters, so by comparison, at least to me, the Sansa chapter wasn't as bad.

I saw something about that, but I decided to not pay much attention, at least for now.
Once Game of Thrones wraps up, I'm sure I'll become more interested.

I think part of that is because I'm a little annoyed, whether it's of me reasonable, or not, GRRM is spending time on that, when TWOW still isn't finished.

Some part of me thinks he lost interest once he realized certain key things would be revealed in the show before he had a chance to get his version out there.

Who knows.

If the books come out, I'll probably still read them, but I know I'm far less interested in them than I used to be. I'm just one person, but I can't imagine I'm the only person who feels that way.
