It's really semantics, but :

...all the nights to come refers to while you are still alive.

That's why Jon gave up the Lord Commander spot to Edd.
He pledged his life.... and lost it. He is no longer bound by the oath.
Based on Melisandre/Beric talks, when you come back, there is a little less of you.
The oath that Jon took was for a different man.
He easily beats the rap in a court of law.
Of course, he could ask for trial by combat.....

Another part of the oath "I shall wear no crowns and win no glory"

He is the King of the North now so he broke that part too unless like you said, death nullified the oath.

Kings appear to have the ability to get them out of that duty. Stannis tried to do it with Jon earlier.
And when Jon finally got out, it was more of a loophole.

Also, I don't think that was papa Tarly burning anyway. Just a random bald guy.

He's not some extra, his death would be a bit more in focus than just someone burning while other action is taking place.

Maybe in the end, when there is no more need for a Night's Watch, Samwell goes home. He's gotta get his Samwise ending somehow.

There will be song about Sam and how his courage saved the world!

I can't figure out why he is so secretive about his resurrection.

Methinks he feels lesser than other men that have not died.

Remember, he was betrayed by the very men he was Lord Commander over.
Folks in the north might think less of someone that went through a mutiny.
Revealing that he has already died might make him seem weak to others, whereas most would probably think it amazing. It's the north. They remember.

He clearly doesn't understand why he was brought back. Even asked Melisandre not to even attempt it if he were to fall in the BotB. Classic hero archetype. Go on a journey of self-discovery (with the wildlings) and then an awakening (finding out his true bloodlines). Until then, everything is a struggle for him.

I think the work-around there is that Night's Watch vows are for life. Jon died, so he's no longer bound to anything. Although only select people in the North know this. As far as everybody else knows Jon is a Night's Watch deserter and legally should be executed.

Yep...

I think it's because some people would probably be uncomfortable following a zombie.

I don't think Jon has any interest in bedding Dany. He said as much to Davos when they were walking. I also don't think Dany has any interest in doing that. She seems too focused and I doubt anyone is going to suggest "hey, you look like you could use some dick"

I am pretty sure it was Bronn. No reason for it not to be him.

It was either him or Euron.
Might as well say it was either Bronn or Ned.

Somewhere in past seasons, Jamie was telling Brienne that there was maybe only three people that could best him with a sword. (Obviously before he lost his hand)

Anyone know who the three people he was talking about?

I believe one of them was Barristan Selmy. Can't think of the other two offhand.

The dude who trained Arya in KL?
Nah, that was Syrio Forel. Barristan was a member of the Kingsguard but got kicked out around the end of season one because I believe it was Joffery that thought that he was too old. He's the one that ended up counseling Daenerys around season three and died in season five.

I knew that. I was offering up Syrio as another possibility for one of the three.

Ser Barristan and the Clegane Boys off the top of my head.

Ser Loras beat Jamie in the jousting tournament, but doubtful he was a better sword fighter than Jamie.
Sword-swallower, perhaps.

Also have to figure that when Jamie says this, he's probably not aware of what else is out there in the world, so most likely he is talking about Westerosi fighters. Sandor and Gregor fight for the joy of fighting, which might be why Jamie respects them. There is no give in them.
