So stoked for season 4. Season 3 dragged quite a bit at times as they were introducing so many new story lines.

But the events of season 4 will cover the 2nd half of book 3 and start touching on events in 4. Major shit start going down all over Westeroos. And now we start seeing the city of Braavos involved.

I've been reading the books since 1997.

I'll wait for this season to be completely finished before watching. I don't like waiting, and I already know everything that happens, so no biggie.

The end of book 3 is where GRRM got completely lost with his storytelling.

He finally got back on track in the last couple of chapters of the latest book.

It'll be interesting to see the editorial choices the show makes for covering this mess of books.

Book 3 was huge, so I'm glad they didn't try to cover it all in Season 3. My biggest gripe is the seasons are only 10 episodes long. They should of bumped it up to 12 and 12 for seasons 3 and 4 to be able to better present it. At least.

But besides that, I love it. They still do an admirable job considering the budget limitations at times and how much material they have to get through to present the really important stuff.

I wish the series was longer also.
the 1st 4 shows you still feel like it is just started & then they start to count down to the last few episodes. it is like there is no middle.

That is how I feel as well. There isn't much of a buildup for the final climax, it is all up to the viewer to anticipate which makes it pretty fun to watch. I'm constantly guessing what is going to happen next.

Season 3 spoiler... I didn't at all anticipate the Stark slaughterfest at the Red Wedding. Crazy shit unfolded there!

I am stoked to start season 4 as well!

As long as Joffrey dies I'll be happy. The sooner the better.

I've been hoping for that since Robert made Ned put down the first direwolf because of Joffrey. Such a little biatch he is.

Seriously! They die off faster than you can even remember their names sometimes.

Can't wait!

Haven't read the books, but... (potential spoiler)

I hear that some of the characters we've been eagerly waiting to die will finally meet their death

Second actor is Aidan Gillen (who plays Littlefinger), he was the CIA agent in Bane's prologue

Wow... Kudos to you sir for making that connection! In Batman that guy looks almost nothing like he does in GoT.

Does anyone that watches the series think the Dancing master will reappear in the future?

I mean no one really ever sees him die.

I was wondering if he might have been an alternate face of Jaquen H'gar. Probably not though. When Jaquen changed faces he was still white and still had the same hair. It seemed as though that only the face changes.

Benioff & Weiss have talked about that. Besides the budget increase that you've noted, they said that they simply don't have the time. They need to produce the series on schedule to fit into HBO's schedule, and they simply don't have the time to write, prepare, produce and edit any more than they do now in the time-frame given.

That said, I agree with you, it would be better if they could do a couple more episodes in each season.

The residents of the city of Braavos are known for their sword and fencing skills. It makes perfect sense he traveled abroad to act as a teacher for hire.

Viewership has increased each season. They now average over 14 million viewers during each episodes premiere. And then you have those with the HBO Go streaming service and all the additional money made from blueray/DVD sales. It's become a cash cow for HBO and budget really isn't an issue for them anymore. But do understand the time issues. But still, 12 per season would really help. It just always feels rushed with how much dialogue they try to fit in.
