Just a refresher...
Game links can't be posted on the message board.

Why?
We don't want the government shutting them down. We want to keep game links on the down low so they will keep working for us.

I have created a group board that is private where game links can be posted. If you want an invitation to the group then let me know.

Peace.

Hopefully the 9ers keep playing like this. It would eliminate the need for being sneaky.

And can I get that invite, too?

Could I get an invite as well? Don't have TV, so watchin' games on the computer is all I've got.

This reminded me of a thread I read in another message board.

You don't have to "stream" games illegally, people. - 49ers Message Board Community

The OP thought the reason everyone was going to online streams was because no one owned a tv (when the reality is that a lot of fans live out of network). I guess in your situation this would be helpful.

A couple of people were relentless in making fun of this guy (mainly one person) for suggesting that people buy something that would make them able to see something they already get on their television or wouldn't be able to get even with the tuner card. It was definitely rude and I don't mean to be rude, but I thought the first few responses were funny.

@MHSL82 That is really funny. You're right about them being sort of rude, but it was funny. On that note, it is an unfortunate reality of life that many people simply are not lucky enough, geographically and/or financially, to watch their favorite teams. I'm in NorCal, so I actually am in market, but have no TV service. Awhile back the roommates and I ordered DirecTV from a 3rd party company that promised us the world (free install + DVR, free local channels, and 6 months of HBO) for $24/mo which (when split among 3 roommates and I) was insanely reasonable. The problem we ran into was the deal we were promised was not the deal we received. Install was free, but we didn't get local channels, HBO, or a DVR. Also, since we had gone through a third party company to sign the initial contract, DirecTV refused responsibility in the matter. Long story short, we don't have DirecTV anymore.

Like most people who stream games, I'd love to watch 49ers games legitimately, saving myself from the hassle associated with streams, but it is not feasible. I'm in college, and all my money revolves around that.

But it's not all bad... one very nice thing I have going on, is I have a $5 S-video cord that connects my laptop to our TV in the living room, so we can watch the games I stream on my computer on the TV. :)
