Happy game day to,all Cowboy fans. Many of us have waited since Thanksgiving for this day. Although it is not exactLy how I would want it , it is still pretty awesome. All I know is the NFL is here. I love college football, but it just isn't the same. I watched a game last night , and if any of you are Texas Tech fans - I feel for you and that defense. 68-55 final score. There will be basketball games that won't be that high scoring. Let's hope our defense is ready to go today. I'm ready for some smash mouth. Bring the big boy pads today. Go Cowboys.

You are so right. The season ended for me on Thanksgiving. I have no idea about this team this year, but I am excited. If we have our future QB in Dak, it will give me faith in this team winning a Superbowl again under Jerry. I am sure he will take full credit for the luck of drafting Dak. I expect him to struggle because he is a rookie, but like others, hope he is the future QB at the end of the season. I really think this is kind of a must win due to playing in Washington next week. Don't want to start 0-2 in division. I can't wait for the game!!! GO BOYS!!!

I'm excited to see Dak today, I think Prescott has a bright future. It will be a big test for him for sure.

BUT....

Elliott is the guy to watch today. This dude is going to light the league up this year. I predict a big game from him today - 125+ yards and a TD or two.

Hopefully the defense can step up and create some turnovers. Interested to see Claiborne match up with Beckham.

I remember 15 years ago, I kind of felt like I do today. I woke up and put my Woodson jersey on. I had some blue Nike shorts and blue turf shoes. I drove to the grocery store with my Cowboy flags flying high. It was Qs debut vs the vaunted Bucs defense. All I know is the Giants don't have that defense. The then we had Emmitt, today we have Zeke. Not much similarities except for my feeling of I don't know what to expect. I will say lots of these talking heads are writing Romo off. Let's roll Dak.

I'm not worried about Dak and the offense scoring, I think a gameplan with a lot of running, play action and threat of Dak taking off will allow Dallas to score points and wear the NYG down. Whether we win or lose will come down to the turnover battle and whether or not our pass D can stop Eli and OB. I'm calling 27-24 Cowboys, fingers crossed

the defense needs to create multiple turnovers and with Eli at QB the odds are good. They just need to stop dropping his inaccurate passes. Elliiot primed for a huge game.

Watching the pregame stuff this weekend... folks mostly talk about Dak, the Cowboy O-line and Elliott.

We'll see if the revamped Giant defense can present some challenges. The Gmen *look* to have one of the best D-lines in football. And the Cowboys, of course, have one of the best O-lines in football. That's the real story of this game, IMO... strength vs strength... who wins in that trench.

Another strength of the Giants is at CB. Can Dak keep the preseason magic going?... it'll be interesting to find out.

With Romo being out and the state of the Dallas defense... most Giant fans see this as a game that we simply have to win.

Yes, the Giants did spend a 1st round pick at CB... Eli Apple. He looked solid in preseason.

In addition to that... they have DRC and Janoris Jenkins. That's a pretty solid top 3 at the position.

This is most definitely a strength.
