Preston is kryptonite to Sam Bradford
Nsyke on offense, Smith on defense & Hopkins on ST.
It is frustrating to see your team completely dominate to go up 14 and knowing, not thinking but knowing, that the other team will get back in the game. Not sure why the offense continues to stall mid-game but this entire thing is a process.
We went from laughing stock to respectable in only 2 years, the next step is learning how to keep the foot on the gas pedal and finish drives with TDs. But it sure beats the old days of taking a sack on 3rd and 12, we saw that crap for too long around here. We may have found our answer at QB and everything starts there. I'm still not convinced he will be good enough to compete for titles but he's clearly good enough to give us a chance.
Pretty exciting about the future of this team.

i would think soIsn't thinking he's good enough to give us a chance. The same thing as saying he's good enough to have us competing for titles?

Nah. Let me give you an example. Matt Ryan, Mathew Staffford, Andy Daulton all LOOK like they may be good enough to give their teams a chance, and that's exactly where their teams have been. Don't laugh, Stafford got to the playoffs twice. So their teams over the years have had a chance and the QB play during the regular season was a reason. But have they actually done anything? Have any of those teams been contenders year after year? No and the QB being outplayed in January is one of the reasons.
I fear this is where Kirk will be. Just good enough to get you to the dance but never good enough to be the reason you contended year after year and actually win big.
Never heard his name which is good and he WAS outstanding in relief!!!PFF gave Ty a team high grade of 83.9

Isn't it possible the reason QBS don't do as well in the post season is they play better defenses?

The opposing (better) QB is playing playoff defenses too.
Look every January we see Dalton, Alex Smith etc dispatched and in the large majority of cases the guys standing at the end are simply better QBs. Go look it up, the numbers are right there to see.
I think Russell Wilson falls in the "Good QB" camp, not a chance they would trade him for Kirk. Flacco? For some strange reason like Eli he can play great at times in the playoffs and when they do their teams win it all. When they revert their teams fail. Those guys support the argument that QB play is crucial. Last year was the rare exception when a SB winner did not have good QB play, like Brad Johnson and Trent Dilfer that game was the rare exception. For every Dlfer I can poiint out 15 SB winners quarterbacked by a Staubach, Brady etc. And of course Dilfer, Johnson, and Rypien were one and done, the Pack, Steelers etc remain competitive for 15 years in large part because they have good QBs.
