The game is now tied because the Flyers look tired and they are not matching the speed of the Habs.

Maybe Chip Kelly is coaching them

There is simply no legitimate reason we should be going into overtime in a game we had won. WE simply took the third period off because of fatigue or whatever and the Habs made us pay. This sucks. We are staring at an 0-3 start to this season.

Del Zotto turns the puck over and we nearly got scored on. Emery has kept us in this game in the OT. Let's see how the shoot-out goes.

The only reason that this game went to shoot out was Emery.
The rest of the team stopped working and stopped skating after the 2nd period.

The blue line corps as a unit is aweful.

That figures. Emery was outstanding as was Price and we simply gave this game away with nothing in the OT and in the shoot-out. On we go 0-3 Tuesday against the Ducks.

I don't want to hear how much better than last season this is...this sucks.

These guys just believe that they are so good that they can coast. The problem is that when they do play they kick ass...need to do that for three periods. If I was Berube I'd skate the fuck out of them Sunday and Monday and keep doing it until they are super fit....anyone who doesn't like it send them to the presser or trade them. You can't keep firing coaches....

3rd periods are killing this team. On a positive note, they've been in every game. Down side is that they keep giving up big goals late in the game. Flyers could just as easily be 3-0 right now but for these goals they give up late in the 3rd.

Is it the same crap as last year tho? As I recall last year was about not scoring goals & Giroux starting out cold. I think this year is about bad defensive play due to injured dmen. I could see the similarities but I think the reasons for the slow start are different this time. IDK that's just my opinion. At the end of the day same results.

At least they got a point, but this team absolutely took the foot off the gas pedal - not good

Besides the fact that we appear to have tried to sit on a 3-0 lead, as explosive as our offense is, our defense is equally as implosive.

We could score or give up 4-5 goals on any given night. It's absolutely maddening to watch. Yes, it means no deficit is too great to overcome, but it also means that none of our leads are truly safe.

Yeah, they seem to lose their composure down the stretch. A lot of it has to do with missing dmen, but a lot has to do with coaching & leadership as well. Gotta keep focus late in the games & they could turn the season around.

The problems this year are fixable - they just aren't playing well enough defensively - last year they couldn't score and they had no energy - this year they're just making dumb mistakes, things that are fixable - simple things like getting the puck cleared when you have a chance to do so - instead of doing those things, they get stuck in the defensive zone for a minute and it leads to a goal
