Sharks need to keep hitting esp. around Quick's crease - it seems to rattle him. And they need to keep out-skating LA. If they win this one the series will be over soon. Quick just ain't the same goalie after Sochi.

"You don't win games because you change scenery" you gotta love Sutters quotes to the media lol. Quick was terrible in Sochi and even prior to getting there he wasn't his normal self, he could be having a bad year which is still better then most goalies best years.

I agree bumping him when they can and generally getting in his house to distract him is the way to keep going it's clearly fucking with his head, just don't do it in a stupid manner. I still think the biggest factor tonight will be how Nemo plays

This is embarassing to the NHL. Bruns' rough for a shove in the chest on a guy with the puck. Thornton's phantom high stick. Soft trip on shep after he gets a high stick. Check from behind on cooch, no call. This is not OK, and the NHL needs to review the game. I havent seen a game this obviously one-sided maybe this entire season. Ive seen bad calls and rough deals (all the disallowed goals), but this one is obvious.

I suppose its a character check to see if the sharks can beat the kings and the refs.

The officiating in this game is fucking horrible. Either you let them both play or you don't very lopsided imho.

That being said, you make your own luck here and I didn't care for how the Sharks played through 2 periods for the most part. The back-checking has been a little soft and they allowed the Kings to start getting their forecheck into play - that doesn't help us. Things improved greatly when we start skating and taking the body... the 3rd period needs to be an all out assault in this manner. The game moves quicker that that is far in our advantage.

Stoll - would someone start hitting this fucker?! Enough of him running around, give him something to think about (as well as the rest of the Kings). If we spend the majority of the time in their zone on the forecheck and forcing them to chase us we will have a much better chance of winning... and the refs wont be able to call as many bullshit calls.
