Division opponent...this will not be a trap game. All of the so-called experts think the Suh, Lake and Williams will get to Garappolo and take away the Patriots offensive game. Last week the Cardinals' Super Bowl/Pro Bowl front seven was going to do the same in Arizona.

McDaniels is simplifying the offense and JG doesn't have to check down five receivers every time he drops back. The Dolphins will come hard and fast and JG will do exactly what he did in AZ, quick dump pass to the RB or short square out to Edelman. The Dolphins defense is not hard to figure out, nor is their offense.

I can't see the Dolphins scoring more than 13 points.

Arizona really isn't known for having a great front-7. The defense is more known for the secondary but even there injuries to the #2 Corner have really had them scrambling. That is part of why Arizona blitzes so much because they trust their secondary to hold up and need to help the front-7 generate pressure.

The "experts" on the NFL Network and most of the "knowledgeable" sports writers in the country certainly differed with you prior to last Sunday's game. All you heard was that the exceptional front seven of the Cardinals, vastly improved in 2016 with the addition of Chandler Jones...blah...blah...blah. They were exposed and now they have to re-invent themselves according to their own GM.

Well if they thought one player was going to fix everything for them then I have no clue why they get the title of "experts." AZ even with how often they blitzed last year were still only 20th in sacks. They just couldn't get home. While Jones helps a little it is not like he is considered among the best sack guys in the league. So again not really seeing why they would call them this great Front-7 at least when it comes to getting after the QB. Now I will say though they were very good at stopping the run. They were a top-10 run stopping front-7 last year. I'm not saying they are a bad front-7 by any means I just wouldn't put them among the 7-10 best ones in the league. Like I said it is the Secondary that is supposed to be carrying this defense.

Miami will definitely be a good test though as they do have some good pass rushers and have the ability to get to the QB up the middle with Suh. Another test for the young Jimmy G.

Just run the ball. Phins still cant stop the run. They have mostly all pass rushers and almost no run defenders

I started re-watching the Cardinals/Pats game this morning. The more I watched and reran certain plays the more I appreciate Dante Scarneccia. The Patriots offensive line was totally make shift:
Fleming, Thuney, Andrews, Karras, Cannon, Bennett.
They did an outstanding job and pretty much kept JG on his feet. They were better than fair run blocking.

I can't believe that the Pats didn't use James White more. After re-watching him, in the first quarter alone he had three passes caught and two excellent runs. He's much faster than I thought the first time around. He'll be really valuable today. Edelman has to be a bit more careful. He was throwing himself around early in the game and did a couple of things could have resulted in bad injuries.

Defensively there were a couple of forgotten guys. One is John Freeney. He played a hell of a game, especially against the Cards' run. He's not big and neither is Barkevious Mingo who'll be playing for Hightower, but they're speedsters and hopefully can force Tannehill to run for his life.

I've only been able to get to halftime and the more I've watched the more I'm impressed with the game plan and the execution by every player. If these guys can go through the season following every game plan the way they did in game 1, they will undoubtedly be a force to be reckoned with.

I'm really looking forward to today's game against the Dolphins D-Line.

Sometimes the things that are working are things that can be adjusted for. If you're bowling over their line and running free then sure, keep doing it. Otherwise, staying a step ahead by changing things up can work too.

Very psyched for the game....less than two hours.

The pocket presence and adjustment on the cross throw to Amendola for the TD was one of the best plays that will be made today.

.....quick snap loses yards...lol!

Great start for the Pats. I would love to see them blow the Dolphins out.
