The power play should've cashed in more than just once and Voracek also had to score on the two on one with G. That was his moment and instead the pass just ticked the stick of the defender and he missed it.
Ultimately, it still felt like we only played competitive hockey for about half of the game. The start was obviously good, but you can't continue to be outshot by wide margins such as 32-20. That's absurd.
You knew eventually the Caps would get their power play opportunities and they buried them. I'm not quite sure why we leave OV wide open while killing penalties either.
