We're under 24 hours away! Woot!

Key to this game is to not take Clemson for granted. Don't expect to be handed the ACC Championship just because Clemson appears to be doing their usual yearly swoon. This team is still quite capable of putting on a similar smackdown like they put on us earlier this year.

I expect the offense to play much better than last time (that's a given, they couldn't play any worse). That alone will make it a closer game. So the weight will fall on the defense. They'll have to limit Clemson's big play ability. I'm a little nervous seeing that our secondary gave up some yardage to UVA and hasn't been playing all that well lately, but I think that may be more a scheme thing with Foster bringing extra blitzers against certain opponents.

It doesn't help that it seems every national analyst is picking us to win like its a cakewalk. That always seems to jinx us but hopefully not this time. I think we win, but it'll be far closer than most believe.

If we play like we did the first game, but EXECUTE this time, we should be fine. Going back and watching part of that game, it was hard to watch us get to midfield so easily, then stall. If we can capitalize on just a few of those drives, and punt the ball decently when we don't, I think we should win this game.

Word. Once again I was the only one in my crew that planned ahead and bought the set while it was still live (after Miami). I think it closed up fast after GT. We've got 20 people in the tailgate tribe and only my eight tickets.

I want come out ready to play in this one. I want to see us play with the same fire that we did against whoVa. I had a coach that used to always say that excitement and execution would get you a long way, meaning that if you come out fucking amped and everybody does their job the other team is in trouble. <----thats how i hope VT plays today.
