I’d be okay with Hutchinson at #2.

I'd be more than just okay with Hutch at No.1 overall, but that's not going to go over so well with the extremists who love the alleged superior athletic edge rusher in Thibodeaux.

I'll take the relentless motor of Hutch versus the more athletic edge rusher who displayed complete frustration in 3 straight games against Colorado, Washington and Utah. You could easily see it in his body language.

Cool. Terrible signing.

We were in desperation mode to sign an edge rusher that would fit their scheme, but I am not denying that it was a horrific signing after the fact. I don't envision many players wanting to sign with the Lions until they can prove they're competent enough to win. Maybe in 2023 they might be able to lure a player worthy of signing but more than likely it'll be 2024.

The Lions have no business of signing any lucrative deals in the upcoming off-season, in my opinion, outside of TW lll. First, they won't have the money and secondly, they'll be short 20 players for the 53-man roster with only 20-30M to spend on those players. The latter figure if they cut Flowers.
