He might single-handedly save Blake's job. We got enough defensive minded no talent guys. Dude opens up the ice and makes plays. Very north south. Protect him with defensive dudes like Kopitar and Danault. Really like it

I wasn't expecting much based on how his last few years have gone but he looks like he's fitting in quite well. Adds a whole different dimension the Kings don't have.

Also not nearly as bad defensively either, actually generates a lot of chances defending

Haven't heard Iafallo's name at all tonight, nor Clarke. Buster's highlight the biff leading to the Jets only goal.

Edmonton beat Vegas 3-2, the flip flopping continues between PD2 and PD3.

Buster 8 points, 1st star and highlight reel high 5

Non factor minus the dumb shot idea leading to a goal and tripping penalty.

I thought maybe I was being harsh blowing him up but second intermission Stoll said everything I said. Clearly I'm not the only one. Not exactly how you want your night to go, likely cost his goalie a SO. These guys have bonus clauses built into their contracts.

And Clarke, it seems everyone is rolling yet this dude continues to be invisible, or visible for the wrong reasons, every night. I wouldn't hesitate to trade him at all while he still has some hype but that dwindles every game he plays.

Tuesday night game. Lot of empty seats if I'm being honest, but Kings looked pretty solid. Kuemper 2nd star, but with 18 saves. Hard to argue Kings aren't limiting shots, which is nice. Felt like Winnipeg had a few blown chances too. Hellebuyck about to win his 3rd Vezina, but as one Jets' fan said it, has he ever won a big game? Big dude, plays deep in his net. Feels like the better teams pick their spots a little better and expose him. 4 Nations they got him up high on a few. That looking Dallas/Colorado series looks so insane the closer we get to it. Bring back the 1-8 format already.

Kings fans I was around seem pretty confident in playing Edmonton a 4th year in a row. I'm more optimistic than previous years, but def would still consider Edmonton a favorite, so how confident can I really feel about LA's chances?

No real complaints though. Maybe coming out flat to start the 3rd, and that comically bad (and now a liability) power play.

Thats 100% a penalty

Interesting thought on that non call crashing into Kuemper, if there was no penalty then the Jets would have scored but they blew it dead with no penalty and no goal. Huh?

There's been some weird officiating recently, in the SJ game when Anderson took two minors and the Shark took one, they still biffed the PP situation.

Hope these situations aren't omens about what's to come in the POs. Because you know LA will somehow get jobbed.

He also plays small, pushed around, barely can lay a hit and drops his twig all the freaking time

The woman and I were watching tonight, she is new to hockey but soaking stuff up like a sponge. I'm being objective with her so as not to taint her and she can make her own decisions and opinions but I kid you not she said that dude (Buster) doesn't play physical at all out of the blue tonight. I never said a word about it during the game but was thinking it.

When I said he is 6'5/225 she said what a p**sy, he plays extremely small for his size. She has been watching all season too, her first real experience being a fan and seeing a whole season, she said she started noticing it maybe 2 months in. I said yeah, imagine seeing this flim flam for almost 5 years now.

If a newbie is able to spot things like that, it's no wonder we can. Dude has every tool to be a bull in a China shop but chooses not to be.

That will be the series of the QFs as far as I'm concerned. The way the Kings have handled the Jets this season I almost wish they'd end up as WC2 so they could play them instead of Edmonton so us fans could get a QF win because LA seems to have their number this season. We've all seen the other side of that coin and certain teams.

And agreed, I got over this divisional nonsense a while back. Sick of seeing Edmonton for the fourth year in a row, would be nice to see a non PD opponent.

Looking at the standings even though Calgary and Vancouver are statistically alive, they will not make either WC spot. The eight are set, only seeding remains. The Blues have been an amazing story but then again in 2019 they were dead last in the West on Jan 1 and ended up winning the Cup.

Thanks for representing and hope you had a good time.

Forgot to mention she clowned his bling, she said WTF is he wearing that stupid gold chain with a Q for and why is it on the outside of his jersey? Then at the end she says did he just kiss the goalie on his helmet?

I started busting up, I said he's all personality and about being in the spotlight. I told her they do IG photos in the locker room after the game and a) he is in every one of them and b) he is shirtless and we scrolled through the account. She started rolling her eyes as picture after picture came up.

Then I explained to her how he hasn't made an impact as he should for where he was drafted and how much the Kings pump him up for basically taking a dump and she said she noticed they tend to bring him up a lot. I explained how a 2OA needs to literally alter the franchise and how important it is to hit on those but in general how badly the Kings have missed the last 8 years and gave her some history.

She said he should focus on his career and not being an influencer, I started rolling again.

I think I like her.

=)~~

Correction, Kuemper doesn't have bonuses in his contract. I forgot he signed this deal under 35, only 35+ contracts and ELCs have bonus clauses in them.

Still cost his goalie a SO haha.

That gaffe made it 2-1 and put Winnipeg right back into the game. Situational awareness son, learn it. Sometimes I wonder if Buster can even add, he shows so much lack of understanding. Now about to be 6 years into an NHL career, makes you wonder if this guy will ever get it.

It gave Winnipeg some life, luckily the Kings regained control. That could have went south real quick.
