Don't be a jabroni.
It's game day, 4pm start on FDS. Won't be able.to catch it at home, Ms Puck II has her HS Winter Formal (they call it WoFo based on Homecoming called HoCo. Huh? There isn't an O in Winter my child, makes no sense but whatever) so I'll be at Javier's in Irvine watching (hopefully). That's where Winter Formal is, multiple HSs, outside in tents because it's supposed to rain tonight. This sounds like an epic shit show waiting to happen, when did HD dances become like this?
Laferriere back in tonight which will be welcome, with him out you can tell the team has a different feel. I don't think he's a game breaker yet but he's on his way, being back in the lineup only helps LA*. Doughty not expected in and Jill running 12/6 with the same group as last game. Kuemper in net.
Doughty is with the team but not expected to play tonight, sticking with my thought he plays Monday against Detroit. Theatrics, makes more sense against Detroit than CBJ although they've won 11 of the last 17 which isn't too bad. Marchenko is a solid player and will make his presence felt tonight, would love to have him in LA.
Prediction: Kings 3-2, goals by Kopitar, Fiala and Buster (reverse jinx). First of 5 on the road.
Let's Go Kings!
*Anyone watched Moneyball? Great movie, and what Laferriere reminds me of. Skilled, has his warts but has that "it". I'll take 23 Laferrieres over one Buster any day of the week. Buster wouldn't make my team actually, if he did he would be bottom rung because he does not have a winner's attitude. Pathetic the Kings have invested so much into a clown who will be a bust.
