Whelp. This place was absolutely rocking. Kings with the reverse McFlurry Minute when Oilers rock McDavid and Draisaitl. Need to stay out of the box, because you can see Perry and Frederic trying to bait LA into penalties. Game within a game.

I did actually love that period though. Oilers had some chances, but LA had way more, even before the goals.

Oilers throwing their usual picks, McJesus holding Kopitar's stick on that goal (although Buster did get away with that on that goal a few weeks ago), Oiler hockey at it's finest.

I hope the Kings hang up 3 more on them in the third.

The Kings defense really does look good though. Like they're all over Draisaitl and McDavid all the time. If McDavid gives up the puck, the King player still trails him. No give and go BS. And checking the stats with Oilers sitting at ten shots. I mean, you'll take that all day.

But need a strong first five minutes of at least a nothingburger. Ideally get a few shifts in the EDM zone.

Kings started off strong, lost focus. I'm going to say fortunate to win this game, if there was more time left who knows what could have happened.

Hopefully it's a lesson learned, I expect a much more Kingy type game in G2. Take the win and call it a night.

No, since Kuz the Kings can actually score. Such a huge huge difference he makes. They can keep up in shoot outs, rather they play their game instead
