Marc Methot left the Sens - Isles game tonight. He couldn't put any weight on his right leg.

I think this is the straw that will break the camel's back for the Sens this year. He's been outstanding. I just don't see how his minutes will be filled.

I think the Sens plummet down the standings, starting tonight.

Bruins have lost Lone Wolf McQuaid (stars a bearded Chuck Norris if you've never seen it) for up to a month with a shoulder injury.

Boston, MA - Boston Bruins General Manager Peter Chiarelli issued the following update today, March 20, on defenseman Adam McQuaid: "Adam sustained a shoulder strain and will return to Boston for further evaluation by the Bruins medical staff. It is anticipated that he may be out 3-4 weeks."

McQuaid has skated in 25 games this season and has registered one goal and three assists with 49 penalty minutes

Yeah went into the boards hard in a bad way, shoulder first, on a clean hit.

Ian Mendes ‏@ian_mendes 31m

And yes -- Cowen is wearing a regular practice jersey and taking d-man rotations with Mike Lundin.

Craig Anderson appears to have full range of motion in the net today. Watching him and he's able to get up/push off on his right ankle.

Who needs Karlsson?

When interviewed the other night Karlsson didn't rule out a return if there is a playoff run. I just don't see it happening though.

The thought of adding Spezza, Anderson, Michalek and Cowen to a team that is 18-9-6 has me pretty happy though.

Paul MacLean for the Adams (or should it go to Coach Q)?

My biased point of view says MacLean should get the nod.

There are so many great candidates this year though.

Boudreau
Quenneville
Therrien
MacLean
Bylsma

It'll be a tight decision by the voters, me thinks.

MacLean with Bourdreau a close second and if the Jackets make the playoffs I would throw in Todd Richards as third only if they make it.

are we giving nothing to Carlyle? Id throw him in 4th. I dont give Q too much as that team is still stacked and underperformed last year. I guess Im not surprised they are where they are.

Players seem to get injured against the Isles. Sometimes they do it to themselves. Against Washington Mathieu Perrault was injured along the boards without being touched.

Tonight Visnovsky nailed Giroux with what looked like a hit from behind. No penalty was called. Fortunately Giroux was okay.
