Futa: Contract Not Renewed

Interesting news out of the player development team yesterday, Mike Futa will not be renewed. He was a key guy in identifying talent and building the culture of LA during Dumbo's reign, had been a target of other teams for vacant GM positions and LA always said no, gave him a raise and new title.

Yannetti really took over at the draft the last few years, I don't know why Futa wasn't renewed. He is a holdover from Dumbo and not a Blake hire, not to mention Bowlby gave his cronies Emerson and Murray new positions also but it's a bit of a surprise.

I think he was there in case Yannetti or Blake was a bust. He could slide up or down to fill the hole.
