Just thought it was a funny line of Jerry makes thousands of moves but all of them end up with the team being the exact same. Which realistically, the team is basically the same as 2016 in terms of winning.

I have said a million times on here that GM's like Dipoto fear championships. It puts pressure to maintain and becomes easier to lose their jobs when they dip. But a team constantly on the fringe in a market like Seattle's can go for decades keeping their jobs. Throw a rebuild/retool in there every 5 years and there is no end in sight. Playoffs breads expectations. Expectations create insecurity.
