Funny Story, kind of........

So I just landed in Las Vegas for business, and as I approached luggage I happened to stumble on a couple of massive dudes on the edge of luggage. Who was it, Michael Bennet & Bruce Irvin. I am as big a Seattle sports fan as there is, but approaching them never crossed my mind; they deserve their space. Plus, what do I say? "Can you please explain the first half of last weeks game? Nice to meet you!". I don't think that'll go over too well, lol! Still pretty cool to see them, got me jacked for next year already!

I probably would not have been able to restrain myself. I would have told Irvin thanks for everything, sorry it looks like you are moving on. And told bennett I love his interviews because he always says something hilarious.

I've always been apprehensive about saying something in that rare occurrence, but then regret not saying something after the fact. I guess I put myself in their shoes and wouldn't mind the attention, but equally wouldn't mind getting off a plane and getting straight to the party as I am sure they were doing. It's funny you mention Irvin Steve because if I were to say anything it would have been exactly that; he gave his heart out for the Hawks and deserves his payday. Hope he stays personally, I like that dude.

I probably would have walked over and thanked them for the hard work they put in and said next year will be the year. I wouldn't ask autographs since it's their time off.

"BENNETT, WE'VE GOT BENNETT HERE!!! See nobody cares. Nice hat, what are you trying to look like a secret agent?"

I would've said to Irvin, "you should let Russell Okung negotiate your next contract for you..."
