For Oregon it works. A non blue blood without a winning tradition. It is simply a part of the brand now. In reality, although many hate it, it works for the Ducks.

Some teams do it especially blue bloods it can go sideways.

However, I don't mind most.... And certainly don't think Oky's alt uniforms are bad.
