I think the Coyotes are locked in for 5 years in the desert (including this year) after which the owners can exercise their out clause if the team has losses totalling $50 million or more.

Yeah I heard something like that. I wasn't sure if it was 3 years or 5 years though. Thanks. I think chances are pretty good they're going to lose a pretty penny. The only question is will they reach the 50 million mark.

It's growing a little on some people... but unfortunately hockey is not very popular in Arizona for obvious reasons. I mean when it's 75 degrees outside for 9 months of the year you're bound to be a baseball/football state. We've sold out a few games recently but our attendance is still putrid.
