You know what I was thinking when he was being recognized on Saturday? I thought, that dude still looks young enough to coach. Boom.
Bo is currently exhausting the Rolodex trying to find Dobson a soft landing spot.
Hey, a guy can dream.
All of the major programs have their own S&C coaches. They're all professionals. There is only one group that Eichorst made a point to exclude in the press release and that's football.
Why?
I can't wait for someone to ask Eichorst.
I figured there is already an assistant athletic director for strength and conditioning in football. I don't know that, but the football program has always been separate from the rest of the sports. It's got more players to manage.
Look who I found poking around.

I feel like I'm missing something. What do you mean?
I mean that it's much ado about nothing.
Boyd Epley wanted to come back so they created a position for him in the athletic department. The reason it's not in the football department is because there is no position open in the football department.
The second part of my post was to point out that guy's background is Miami and Wisconsin, just like Eichorst's is. Just something that caught my attention is all.
Oh yeah. I was asking about the second part. Waterfield was one of eichorst's first hires here. I just thought you might be looking deeper into it than is necessary because the two of them go way back.
Yeah, I should probably know the hierarchy of the athletic department better than I do.
