They should wait and get Charlie Strong

No, Strong needs to go back to the SEC where they don't play offense so he looks like a professional coach again.

Tedford won't be the interim coach as it turns out but he could be the head coach. Will be interesting to see if they hire him

Fresno State should be able to attract a good candidate as they have been traditionally one of the best programs in the group of 5, problem is who can they afford? Will they have to go with Tedford? Or an up and coming guy like Bob Stitt

I know his name was in the hat for the BSU job, but harsin had it all the way. I think he would step in and do a great job at Fresno, and use it as a stepping stone.

To me Tedford is the equivalent to Pat Gillick in baseball. A dude who gets praised for being in perfect jobs at the perfect time, not really skill.

Thought Kiffin might end up here legitimately since is a smaller school and he's an alum.

The announcement rumor of Tedford seems odd to me at this point in the year, but I guess if you know who you want and they are interested.

Word is Tedford is the lead candidate, but I hope Washington finds a way to keep him on the staff till our bowl situation is completed, if he ends up taking the job.
Fresno is going to obviously want whoever to start building his staff in Dec.

If Washington is on a playoff run, I don't see him leaving. In both the playoffs this past year Herman and Smart both stayed on until after the championship game. It's the right thing to do.

If a coach bails on a team like that, fuck that coach.

Doider source?
I have no idea what that means, but it's common knowledge that Burger King always has the inside scoop on issues such as these. Thought you knew...?

Doider source?

Pretty sure droider said he's a Fresno State fan. So I think the list of teams he's currently a fan of is up to 50 or 60.

Chip Kelly to Fresno... Heard it at Burger King.
Not sure which BK you're going to, Nod, but I have it on good authority from the BK at State and 17th that Chris Petersen is on a jet plain and the Huskies don't know when he'll be back again.
He's a bulldog..

Adding to the fun is UW and Fresno have a date next season

Would Fresno be interested in Kiffen?

Kiffin actually played for Fresno State I think

So perhaps he's willing to give them a discount...otherwise Fresno State can't afford him

I think Fresno State would be interested in Kiffin but they can't afford him unless he gives them a discount like I said above
