I was crushed when I heard this news earlier today. Pat Hill was my favorite head coach in college football. Fresno St was my 3rd favorite college football team because of Pat Hill. Now I say FUCK Fresno St and I hope we beat the fucking shit out of them in a couple of years when we go there. This sucks!!!!!

That's just insulting. The guy took a pay cut last year when he heard to help his school deal with the budget crisis, and they fire him? Seriously? He did have a bad year, but when you have twelve good years that should buy you enough respect to survive a bad year. He was selflessly committed to that program, and he deserves better than this.

Not just 12 good years. He built that program to be a feared program that people didn't want to play.

I'm disappointed it had to result in a firing but it was probably best for the both to split

Pat Hill is a great coach but after we basically ruined him he didn't have the resources to succeed

Fresno State went 4-9 against terrible teams this year

they needed something new and Pat Hill needed somewhere new to go

I hope he gets a head coaching job somewhere different because he can succeed there

I just again wish they could have both agreed to split because both are better off apart now

Fresno State is at a 0 on a 0-10 scale of prestige..........yet somehow he made them decent..........they will never get back up to where he had them.

Fresno State came into that game ranked 8th and were looking at maybe being the first mid major to crash to the BCS

but the only thing that came crashing down were those hopes when we took them down, they were never the same after that.
