Some of the big donors like the idea of being able to "rub elbows" with past Trojan greats. There has been too much catering to them, imo. I know a few of them are not happy with how Swann has treated them, so hopefully their over wanting big name former Trojans and we can hire someone who has actually successfully run an athletic department.

I always thought Garrett was a bad AD, but Haden and Swann have managed to make him look good by comparison. I mean, at least Garrett had the good sense to hire Pete Carroll (which just about every Trojan except me hated at the time lol).

Haden was handed a bag of shit too though.

Yes and no. The Reggie Bush thing happened under Garrett and Haden inherited it. He also inherited Kiffin, but he hired Sark.

That's true. I think he is a lying creep though who put his programs ahead of the rules and what is right at both OSU and Florida.
Besides, SC hires on the cheap thinking coaches should be thankful to be coaching there. That's why their coaching has been terrible since Carroll left.
