I was thrilled. If our QB hadn't gotten hurt - and of course the fumble in the end zone for a TD hurt - maybe we could have pulled it out.

But the Dogs have a better team; this year anyway.

Regardless of where Scott Baker wins up next season, I hope he has an opportunity to have a more established roll and prospers.

Chirinos has earned a shot at the catching job in 2015, at least on a platoon basis. Do we go with Telis or look to bring back Soto as the other catcher?

I hope some of you Choo haters are listening to what JD had to say about him, his injury, and how the team didn't handle it well. Quote: "The first 6 weeks of the year, he may have been the best hitter in baseball. And then the ankle problem happened....."

I've gotta give Daniels credit in that, he doesn't avoid/deflect the question. He answers straight-forwardedly and then let's the chips lye where they do.

With the pressure on the 40 man roster, it puts guys like Baker in a little different position than previous seasons.

I like the guy a lot actually.

And Ryan Rua is making a real nice case for himself as the LF for 2015.

We seriously must address our base running deficiencies in 2015, although I must admit that the stupid base running errors have noticeably lessened in the last several weeks...
