and what does Frank Gore have to do with anything? our offensive line is garbage right now and the RT market is thinning fast

Gore has nothing per se to do with it, but the fact that it was reported he had agreed to a deal and now maybe he hasn't shows most of us that nothing is finalized with these reports.

As far as the RT market, I have 2 points. First, not one RT has signed yet with another team (see above). Second, this draft is full of RT talent. Maybe that's why we choose not to panic and overpay for one in FA.

Mark Bullock:

Watching Marcus Gilchrist. Can see why #Redskins are interested. Familiarity with Barry, looks smart, helping line people up. Versatile.

Gilchrist plays SS in base, but spends a lot of time in the slot. Was trusted against likes of Welker and Harvin in slot.

Having said that, his actual coverage ability is average. Haven't seen too much of him against the run, as he spent most of his time in slot

DLs - S. Paea, T. Knighton and D. Williams.

OLs, but RT B. Bulaga was linked to #Redskins by one report out of Milwaukee. G M. Iupati was, too, but he's headed elsewhere.

Among the RBs - J. Forsett, CJ Spiller and Roy Helu Jr., who's drawn interest from Giants and Pats, too.

The Redskins have contacted one of Joe Barry's former LBs

The Redskins have talked to Andrew Gachkar's camp per Mike Jones of the Washington Post. Gachkar(6'3", 240 lbs, 26 years old) was a 7th round pick by the San Diego Chargers in 2011 out of Missouri. Current Redskins Defensive Coordinator Joe Barry also joined the Chargers in 2011, and has been Gachkar's LB coach for his entire NFL career. He had his most productive year as a pro last year, and was credited with 49 tackles,1 sack, and a pass defended. He played 36.5% of the defensive snaps, and 48.5% of special teams snaps in 2014.
Redskins have talked to the camp of Chargers ILB Andrew Gachkar. No proposal yet, though, source says.
