Had a one goal lead going into the 3rd period in game 6 (elimination game) against the Hawks. And now they're moving to the Least.

Both teams had similar postseasons, both filled with injuries as well. I just don't see that as the real reason he bailed. Not saying that Detroit isn't a good situation to be in, because it is, but I wouldn't say Ottawa is behind them in terms of Cup chances. Ottawa had some great exposure for their young guys too.
