I'm mostly happy about the money we've saved. The TG reference is because - by what little I just read about him - he seems to be another Gilbert-type yeoman player, as opposed to a highly regarded 'star' defenseman.

As far as his actual hockey skills, I really have no clue: I just know that the Wild d-men weren't exactly getting it done last season, so taking a gamble on somebody new is okay with me.
