Franchise tag dates, RFA tender figures, and, as expected, cap won't rise much

In memo to agents, NFL says franchise tagging period will begin 2/18, end on 3/4; '13 league year (FA) starts 3/12 at 4 p.m. ET.

And here are the tenders for RFAs ... High tender is $2.879M (1st-Rd comp); Next is $2.023M (2nd-Rd comp); Then $1.323M (original draft rd).

Also worth noting that the RFA tenders will increase by the minimum 5%, which shows, as has been out there, that the cap won't rise much.

Is it the year after then that the cap is supposed to jump up quite a bit then?? Something with the TV deals??
