For Cody Latimer and Bennie Fowler, year No. 3 means it’s time to catch Broncos’ attention

I meant to title this Fowler Vs Latimer, but spazed on the key board.

Nice article - great training camp battle. Latimer is an example of what happens to a guy Manning didn't trust in his offense and Fowler is an example of a guy who Manning happened to trust in his offense.

Two really good prospective players - real depth here for the Broncos with Norwood and Taylor in the wings and Addision nipping at their heals. The Broncos might find a place to trade some of the WRs assets near TC ending.

The best WR corp we've ever had

Bennie Fowler is a beast, and my favorite current Bronco

The WR depth on this team is ridiculous. I'm surprised there's not a law against this kind of depth. It'll be key to see how these guys adjust to Sanchez. Also: we are likely transitioning from Sanchez to Lynch next year so if a guy doesn't have a great year this year let's not write him off just yet. His day may come with the new QB.

He reminds my of Rod Smith when it comes to body type. I'm not saying he will be as good as Rod Smith but I see some similarities.

I see Rod Smith in Fowler not just looks but play ... Like like lucas said ...beast ...

He is not scared he turn up field as fast as rod Did and that is saying something special because to me that was what made Rod Smith a one on of a kind ... I had never seen that in anyone quite that quick to turn up field . That bolds really well for him . I am a monster fan of fowler !!

Latimer I am sure will get on the right page Deal is lets hope he don't have the monster year we all know is coming the year before his contract is up .. that would suck .

Cody Latimer only needs an offensive coach with the philosophy of Wade Phillips - he may well have it now that Kubiak is able to run his offense. The Kubiak offense is simple to execute and hard to defend - what more could you want? I say simple, but I mean the techniques are much more athletic and synchronized than remembered and changed at the last second.

I can see where Latimer may be more suited for the 3rd WR spot than Fowler. If you needed some WR to make a key block downfield - I'd pick Latimer to do that. If you were just running a Go route - I'd pick Latimer to do that. Across the middle and in heavy traffic - I'd take Fowler.

^ Good point about Fowler. He's fearless. The guy could easily be a #2 on a team like the Chiefs.

Fowler is no slouch as a blocker either, but Latimer has fantastic athleticism and technique when he blocks.

I love Fowler when he gets the ball in his hands, but he is also a beast blocking, and always looking for contact ..

I've probably posted this before, but watch for #16 after Norwood makes his 4th cut - at around the 40 yard line .. Fowler comes into the picture like a runaway train
