Watching Biden talk about how Trump's trade policies have hurt American jobs while standing at a podium that just says "BUY AMERICAN" in giant letters is kinda confusing. So the policies are terrible and also we will keep them in place?

The logic behind that is the on the fence Trump supporters that get this logically.

Also Trump's trade policies were never to "Buy American" it was to help the 1% and his cronies.

How many other leaders continued to hold campaign rallies (at least five by most counts) knowing how dangerous and easily transmitted the virus was? How many other leaders continued to downplay this as we have totally under control, we have 15 cases that in a couple of days will be down to zero and it will go away in April when the warm weather comes? The Democrats didn't stop campaigning during primary season and it's kind of naive to think this information wasn't available to, at the very least, the senate intelligence committee and House leadership.

It's shitty to have that knowledge and keep it to yourself and act as if everything is okay but there is 0% chance that he was the only leader in the country, let alone around the globe among US allies and beyond, who didn't know more than they said.

I mean, Trudeau's gov't was saying "everything was under control" as late as late February lol. Here's Canada's deputy chief public health officer Dr. Howard Njoo on February 26:

Combine that with the fact the Canadian military, like the US military, were making pandemic preparations in January and I'm failing to see why we shouldn't be equally outraged at other governments for causing unnecessary death. They're all complicit but today the world's only talking about Trump as if our dead mean nothing.

I think you are missing the point. It is never a Democratic slogan but more a patriotic thing to sway voters nothing more than a political ploy just like the Bailout discussion.
