George W. Bush started a pointless war using bullshit intelligence he peddled through some of the largest media organizations and most respected journalists in the country with barely a sneeze of questioning.

I'd argue that media has gained more mileage out of Trump by talking incessantly about every little thing he does or doesn't do and ignoring everything else going on in the world but W's first term was basically him and Dick Cheney turning the entire fourth estate into state media - you can make a good argument that the only rational, non-biased news organization in the country from 2002-2004 was The Daily Show lol.

I think so too. And the part that worries me most, bothers me most is how cruel some people have become. Its not most, its not even half but it seems to me more people than ever are relishing cruelty.
