I noticed that. Scherff making it in his 2nd year is huge. RG appears to be locked down for the next 10+. I think Norman deserved to make it. Bad mouthing the refs, big contract, and being part of a terrible defense kept him out.
IM curious.. why does the pick need some other validation than his current body of work?? He has started in 30 games, has given up wht 1 maybe 2 sacks. I think he has had all of three penalties against him and he isnt constantly on tape being blown up, blown by, or driven back. The best OG's in the game are the ones you DONT hear about on a weekly basis.
He has had his fair share of penalties. It needs validation b/c its uncommon to draft a RG at #5 overall when we needed a DE. We have one of the worst dlines in the league and we still bypassed Williams. Im happy he is doing well but what if Scherff shit the bed. Wouldn't their be a shit storm on SM?
My questions are why isn't he playing LG? Why isn't he dominating in the run game? We still cant run the ball. Shouldn't this problem be solved by having William and Scherff on the same team or same side?
Dude.. that was two drafts ago, and he is one of the best O-lineman in the league. I think you are the only person in the universe still asking.. .was he worth the pick.
Wait a minute. You know as well as I do that the Pro Bowl is just a popularity contest. He is not dominating people. Once again why isn't he a LG? I know he is the strongest guy on the team so why isn't he playing LG to team up with Williams to fix the running game?
