Doesn't surprise me in the least. Dumb things come to him naturally.

Supposedly this idiot was beyond this type of sophomorish krap that got him thrown out of the Rams and tagged as the dirtest player in the NFL until Suh took that from him. Apparently he still has a need to find trouble or create it!!

And now what is going on with Richie Incognito has now been the fulfillment of many teams' suspicions about Richie and that was some day this guy would implode. He is done-at least with the Dolphins for sure-and may be for good as his suspension by the NFL is indefinite and he may face criminal charges that this time he can not wiggle out of unlike the days at Nebraska.

He left a trail of verbal assault in Dolphin land that had a rookie fearing for his life and that was seemingly uncharacteristic of Richie after years overcoming a very aggressive and violent past. What makes little sense is his need to almost out-of-the-blue regression to a time that had the Rams offering him help in order to keep his exploosive violent temper under control. Everyone seems baffled by this event that has probably cost him his career as an NFL player and he was yet another one of thoe draft picks we completely missed on.

Here is a chronicle of Richie's "accomplishments" both on and off the field.

Richie Incognito's current troubles are just the latest in a long line of problems for the persona non grata offensive lineman of the Miami Dolphins.
All through college (two schools) and the NFL (three teams), he has been trouble at nearly every stop along the way.

• As a freshman at Nebraska in 2002, Incognito (according to USA Today this week) bullied teammate Jack Limbaugh to the point where he stormed off at practice.

• Incognito started 13 of 14 games as a true freshman, missing the one against Iowa State because of an in-game fight against Penn State the week prior.

• Incognito was suspended the following spring by then-head coach Frank Solich. The reasons never were reported.

• In the spring semester of 2004, Incognito was charged with three counts of assault after a fight at a party. He was found guilty on one charge of misdemeanor assault and hit with a $500 fine.

• That following fall, Incognito was suspended from Nebraska and he withdrew from school two weeks later.

• Two weeks after leaving Nebraska, Incognito enrolled at Oregon. A week after that, then-Ducks head coach Mike Bellotti kicked him off the team and told the Oregonian: "There were conditions we had set down and set forth for him to be admitted to our program, and they were not met."

• That next spring in 2005, Incognito declared for the NFL draft. Former Indianapolis Colts head coach Tony Dungy recently told Dan Patrick that his team red-flagged Incognito for character concerns and removed him from their draft board. So did former New England Patriots personnel boss Scott Pioli, who echoed similar sentiments on NBC Sunday night.

• After being taken in the third round of the NFL draft by the St. Louis Rams, Incognito earned a starting spot and became known for his rough style on the field. He committed 38 penalties, including seven for unnecessary roughness, in 44 games.

• Incognito was voted the "NFL's dirtiest player" by The Sporting News in a poll of 99 players in 2009.

• After several incidents involving fans and then-Rams head coach Steve Spagnuolo (during a game against the Tennessee Titans), Incognito was released in December 2009. He finished the season with the Buffalo Bills but spent only three games with them.

• In December 2011, as a member of the Miami Dolphins, Incognito incited Oakland Raiders defensive tackle Richard Seymour, who was fined $30,000 for punching Incognito during a game.

Houston Texans defensive end Antonio Smith called out Incognito for dirty play in 2012. In a 2013 preseason game with the Dolphins, Smith swung his helmet during an altercation with Incognito, which earned Smith a one-week suspension.

• Also in August, Incognito was involved in an incident at a Miami Beach hotel in which it was reported he punched a security guard, but his name was cleared, charges were dropped and Incognito was issued only a trespassing warning.

• The incidents with Jonathan Martin, which reportedly dated from his rookie season, and through April OTAs, came to light in November. The Dolphins, after hearing the reported death threats and racist slurs on voicemails left on Martin's cell phone, suspended Incognito indefinitely and reportedly plan to cut ties with him.

And now he will soon be out of the NFL and may very well face criminal charges as well!

Now there are claims that Richie was just following orders by the coaches to "toughen up" Marten and to get him back on the field with a the phone voicemail messges because Marten had missed practice for flimsy reasons. Looks like another Williams-Gate going on and if Richie goes down, a couple of coaches may go with him!!

Yahoo sports is claiming that indeed unamed coaches in Miami encouraged Incognito to saya nd do the things he did to toughen Marten into a viable NFL O-tackle. Apparently the coaches were offended by his wussified approach that they deemed to be insufficient for the pro game. Enter the fall guy-Richie Incognito. Nothing like a hired hit-man!

A column written for Sports illustrated by Lydon Murtha now claims that what Richie did to Marten is not bullying AT ALL but the normal subculture of the NFL that routinely goes on. He stated in that article that Marten is the problem here because he did not play along in this game and actually take his hazing lumps like everyone else. Sounds eeriely similar to the hazing culture in the Greek houses on college campuses that got thrown about a decade or so ago. Has PC finally come to the NFL? Looks that way!!

Incognito and the Miami coaches should all take the fall here. This is like bounty gate all over again, only psychological instead of physical and aimed at your teammate.

The coverage on this topic is maddening..why it is garnering so much press still amazes me. You are 6-5 320 lbs making millions and you let another man bully you..aka talk a lil trash?? Grow the hell up, confront him and move on; this shouldn't even be up for discussion. I first got bullied when I was a freshman in hs from a 300lb freshman defensive lineman; I told my history teacher that he was talking junk about my moms and his exact words were " is any of the stuff true?" My response was no they are not; and then he ended the convo with either confront him and talk shit back or ignore him. So I two pieced him in the face and didn't hear a peep the rest of the year, end of discussion. Wasn't a national story.

I also think it is about saving face and if you don't stand up for yourself, the bully will always be there until another takes over. I told a story to a fellow worker this week while listening to the Richie story. I was a sophomore backup QB and across from me was a hell of a player, a stud, a bully with blood in his eyes at middle linebacker. He was constantly in the backfield as we worked the opposing teams plays each week and 4 out of 5 plays he would lay me out. whether I had the ball or not. A few weeks into the season and no red vest on me, I had enough and after the hit and lay out, I sprung to me feet and with both hands and all my strength shoved all my weight into his chest which knocked him back a couple of inches. (OK it didn't seem like much)What it did do however was let the guy know I wasn't going to be his personal punching bag during ever scrimmage. Amazing enough, he never went out of his way to cold cock me again, oh yea he hit me ever time I was in the play but not the way it had been. He ended up with a great career and even signed a book for me later after his playing days was over, his name was Conrad Dobler.

He was a player and at the time I was playing up and he taught me a lesson that Martin should have used. Stand up for yourself because in the end, the bully will find someone else and you might just find something yourself. Conrad ended up being a bully in the NFL at OG and his book was titled, "They call Me Dirty". Maybe but I say intense was his MO.

That is a cool story Blue but the gist of what has occurred is a bunch of coaches encouraged Incognito to toughen this Marten wuss up a bit to "get him back on the field ready to play". SO Incognito took matters into his own hands and went a bit overboard. But the other side of this is that this is routine for so many playing Pro ball and what Marten should of done was take it to Incognito and have at it just like what happens in training camp every year. Jermaine is right. This has been an exaggerated story that is really a non-issue and Incognito will be lucky to get his job back. Maybe the Rams should sign him since Fisher seems to be a miracle worker with head cases!!! Lol!
