Bama is 3rd in the BCS rankings. I told you a 1-loss team would jump Boise. Oklahoma will soon follow, or Oregon if they beat Stanford.

And it's a fucking joke. This is why NCAA football will never be as popular as the NFL. No one wants to watch a championship game of LSU vs. Alabama. Already seen it. There is suck an SEC bias it's not funny. And no Oklahoma won't.

While a rematch might suck, at least it will be a good game. If LSU were to play Stanford, they'd likely win by at least 2 touchdowns. Boise is hard to evaluate.

It doesn't matter if it would be a blowout. Stanford has earned their chance. So would have Boise. Bama had theirs and they blew it. I'd rather see Houston play LSU in the championship than a 1 loss team. Bama lost at home too. Oregon at least lost on the road. I'd put Oregon over Bama.

It's a busted system for sure. I wouldn't mind seeing a tourney of the top 8 teams. That would make for some good television. The question is, 'when would they play it?' December? During the holidays? They can't play in January because the NFL playoffs and they wouldn't want to compete. I still think that a big reason they haven't shifted to a playoff is that they haven't completely figured out the television schedule. I imagine it will all change within the next 5 years.

There is like a 50 day break in between the end of the season and the last bowl game anyways. Have it as soon as the season is over, then have the championship on New Years or so.

Stanford will jump Bama if they win out, but if they don't, and Ok ST loses to the Sooners, then a rematch makes sense.....Boise needs a tougher schedule before they can be considered on the same plane as Big 12/SEC teams.....maybe if there is a rematch, someone will cross the goal line?

No one will schedule Boise. it isn't their faults. They easily beat the 1 SEC team that would schedule them. Georgia is the SEC east leaders.

I can't argue that, and I'm not talking about whether they deserve it or not, but the schedule is what it is, for whatever the reason.....

So they shouldn't get a shot over a team who already had theirs? Even though Boise has routinely beat "Big Boy" schools?

Their schedule improves they'll get a shot if they can stay unbeaten...it's that simple....I really don't think they're much of a threat against LSU/Bama anyway, at least this year, but that's just one man's opinion.......

I don't either LSU or Bama beat OK St or Boise. Neither have a good enough QB or offense.

Well, if Ok St wins out we'll get a chance to test your theory.....I'll go on record right now that if the NC game is LSU / Ok St, LSU will win.....

LSU has no offense. it sucks. terribly. Lee is awful, the other QB can't throw the ball. They don't have a stud RB or WR. Stanford doesn't have the athelets to run with them Okie does.

LSU has put up points in every game except the game against Bama (the best defense in college football). I'm not sure where you get this bias against LSU or Bama's offense for that matter. LSU would absolutely destroy Boise. And I do think they should get in over the 1-loss teams, but they won't.

The only reason they scored against Oregon were the unforced turnovers. They are a terrible offense. And what basis do you have to think they would destroy Boise? The fact that Oklahoma did...or Oregon....or VT.....or Gerogia....whoops.
