If a team has proven, reliable kickers, they dont bring in guys to compete- their jobs are secure. However, they may sign someone for the portion of preseason where inflated rosters are allowed to see what they can do. That gives an idea who may be suitable to bring back if an injury occurs...but its not a competition.

I guess it all depends on his re-hab. He's still unsure at this point. But I'd bet on him being ready for camp.
