The trap is nothing new. You have to dump the puck in establish a forecheck and cycle to score a goal. Obviously we don't see eye to eye here but I don't see where standing in your own zone to try and prove a point is productive.

Lightning forward breaks in to get to the puck. DMAN #1 with the puck can A)Pass it to the DMAN #2 who then passes it forward or B) DMAN #1 passes it forward. They are trying to take a guy out of the play/Not turn it over. Why would any defender in their right mind attempt to pass it into traffic?

Look, I have no dog in this fight but the Bolts didn't make the Flyers stand in their own zone with the puck and not TRY to advance it.

Force the fucking play, dump it in and play the game do not play pass it back and forth.
